My dad met Volly over twenty-five years ago at Stockton Speedway. She lives in Germany and vacations in the States whenever possible. She loves to come to the speedway with Linda Myssat the daughter-in-law of the late Ray Bishop, a driver and car owner at 99 Speedway in the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s. Linda introduced Volly to this short track bullring type racing back then and she fell in love with it. "In Germany we have only formula 1 racing".

Now I'm as big a race fan as there is any were but I still think it's a long way to come just to see a bunch of local racers chase around in a circle on a Saturday night."

Volly will be at the track this Saturday night I hope we can show her a race that would make this vacation stand out over all the others.
